This book was such fun to research because the heroine, Ellie St. Eaves, is a feisty, flirty, flapper who travels from 1921 to 2018. The man who rescues her from the ravine/time portal is Sheriff Bart Knight. What fun to surprise the sheriff who thinks he is a lady’s man. Ellie is an expert at wrapping men around her little finger.  I have to admit this book made me smile.

I planned the release for April 18, which is my dad’s birthday. He always encouraged me to read and to write. His tales of his family’s first years in Texas ignited my interest in Texas history and  nineteenth century history. Sadly, he is no longer living but I’m sure he knows I’ve become a writer.

On May 25, the final of the trilogy, TEXAS STORM will release. Researching it took more time but I am enjoying the book. I hope you will, too.
