CLASH OF WILLS
By S. G. (Suzanne) Rogers
The Wild Rose Press
$1.25 rated G
Princess Samantha of Paloran has no intention of choosing one of the many suitors her parents thrust her way. Once again, she has browbeaten her companion, Nanny, to trade places with her to entertain Crown Prince Wills of Insolita. The crux of her masquerade is that Samantha misses her older brother, David, who has been disowned for his practice of magic. Before he left the palace, David entrusted a special type of compass with Samantha with the instruction that it would always lead her to him. For weeks, she’s been planning her escape to the Uncharted Territory to find her brother.
When Prince Wills and Nanny hit it off, this leaves Samantha free to plan her trip. Samantha convinces her parents that she needs to travel to Insolita to meet Prince Wills parents. On the trip, she initiates her plan, then discovers an amazing truth about herself. Will Prince Wills help her or renounce her? What trials will Samantha face before she finds her brother?
CLASH OF WILLS is a clever novella that could also be a Young Adult novel. It reads like a modern fairy tale and is sure to please fantasy fans.
I was given a copy of CLASH OF WILLS for an honest review.
