MAKING MAGIC!

Some things are hauntingly magic. Those of us born before the age of everyone carrying a mobile phone—we in our family call this back when the world was black and white and dinosaurs roamed the earth—find many things of the computer age amazing. I took a computer programming class in college. Believe me , the machines we used were nothing like the one I’m using now!

But I digress. Back to magic. Remember in the movie “The Wizard of Oz” when it opens in black and white in Kansas and then changes to color in Oz? That seems like magic to me. It’s a good example of what I mentioned—the world was black and white and became Technicolor.

The reason I’m talking about magic is because of preorders for your e-reader. Yes, this is a plug for my two books on preorder. You preorder them now and—poof!—they appear on your e-reader on release day. What a great concept!

The first is the upcoming Impostor for Christmas Series. The first of these books will be released on November 12. The series page is at https://www.amazon.com/Impostor-Christmas-9-Book/dp/B09H7NN9XK/  At that site, you’ll find nine books listed.

The Impostor For Christmas Series consists of sweet, western historical romances that are short reads certain to bring comfort and pleasure to your fall reading time. As you guessed by the series name, each book occurs at Christmastime.

My novella is titled MAIL ORDER GLORIA, Book 7, and will be released on December 3. The buy link for this selection is https://www.amazon.com/Mail-Order-Gloria-Impostor-Christmas-ebook/dp/B09GQLXMVL I hope you’ll preorder MAIL ORDER GLORIA.

The other series you can preorder is the Angel Creek Christmas Brides. This very popular series is in its fourth year. You can find the series page at: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=angel+creek+christmas+brides+series&crid=2K66KEOE45O4N&sprefix=Angel+Creek+Christmas+%2Caps%2C176&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_22

My book, AMY, is at https://www.amazon.com/Amy-Angel-Creek-Christmas-Brides-ebook/dp/B098GK1PCH.

AMY, book 25, will be released on December 10. In this story, the heroine starts out as a swindler looking for a safe place to hide for a few months. She takes the place of another woman. Not completely relaxed, she believes she has escaped the former partner chasing her as well as leaving behind her old life. That is, until she learns her groom is a sheriff. Why not preorder now and give yourself a Christmas present?

Go forth and preorder books. Make magic!

ANGEL CREEK CHRISTMAS BRIDES 99¢ SALE!

By Caroline Clemmons

Wonderful news—A 99¢ Christmas in July sale!

Are you enjoying the summer weather? I hope you’re taking advantage of all the Christmas in July sales this month—especially this one. Each Angel Creek Christmas Bride story is a stand-alone, but each is set in Angel Creek, Montana Territory, following the Civil War. The 99¢ sale is through Book Funnel.

On Sunday, July 18, the 2020 books set in 1867 (including my book, MEG, book 20) go on sale for 99¢. https://books.bookfunnel.com/2020-angelcreekchristmasbrides/lixfipmxhm

My story centers around a kind-hearted heroine. While traveling to meet her groom, she accepts responsibility for two children from their dying mother. The hero is a newspaper owner struggling to make ends meet and grow his newspaper sales . He doesn’t need two children underfoot. He needs a wife and helpmate, but he tries to be gracious. At least, he believes he is. Only when danger threatens his new family does he realize his priorities.

We’ve continued the Angel Creek Christmas Brides series for this year. The books are available for preorder. Mine on Amazon is at https://www.amazon.com/Amy-Angel-Creek-Christmas-Brides-ebook/dp/B098GK1PCH. AMY, book 25, will be released on December 10, 2021. Why not preorder now and give yourself a Christmas present?

I've been surprised at how much variety is represented in this series. Of course, we authors are careful to coordinate with one another so we don't contradict or duplicate other stories.

Have a great weekend, and keep reading!

I HAVE TONS OF NEWS TODAY!

Be sure and comment to enter for a giveaway!

I have tons to tell you today!

First, I have a new release. DESPERATE IN DELAWARE is part of the Yours Truly: The Lovelorn series. In this one, Mina Faye Stapleton leaves Delaware for Palo Pinto, Texas. Not coincidentally, Palo Pinto is not that far from me. The county historical society has wonderful county tours each year. Hero and I attended several and loved them.

Here’s the blurb for DESPERATE IN DELAWARE:

I will wait no longer! Since my parents’ death I’ve been living with my sister’s family. I help care for her home and her adorable children. But, when will I have my own husband and children? There is not even one eligible man near my age in our small town. I hear the snickers and hurtful remarks—old maid, spinster, on the shelf. My cousin sent me an invitation to visit her and included a newspaper clipping from a Yours Truly: The Lovelorn’s column. Imagine my surprise when the letter to the columnist read as if I had written it. I’ll do it—I’ll follow the Lovelorn’s advice. I’m heading for Texas to stay with my cousin. I refuse to watch my life disappear until I’m left with only regrets!
